SeaQuarium Rhyl Project
The SeaQuarium Rhyl project involved providing imprinted concrete around the outdoor seated arena, tiered so everyone seated can see the seals at play. We installed the imprinted concrete whilst the venue remained open, with the minimum of fuss. The result of this project: a safe and secure environment for the public to enjoy the sea-aquarium!
Working alongside B&W Builders of Kinmel Bay, who dealt with the preparation work – the metal grid embedded into the low retaining walls, CretePave then laid the imprinted concrete into the tiered sections.
The second photo clearly shows that work’s in progress, with the lower concrete sections in place and having received the imprinted pattern. This pattern is called ‘Random Stone’ and the colour is plum.

The lower level of the open arena has received the imprinted concrete treatment, and awaits final wash down.
The project nears completion with the wash down, removing concrete dust and any loose pieces of concrete following the imprint process.
This imprinted concrete project was done in 2013.
